` A happy day just turned so sad after I read today's 'wan bao'...Saw a picture of many children with their bodies 'out of shape' trapped under when the rubble was removed. The feeling of grief was so strong even though what I saw and read were from just a few pieces of recycled papers... There is a town where all the kids were 'killed' by the earthquake, no young generation was left behind. A school was found being 'tou(1) gong(1) jian(3) liao(4)' and if only it wasnt, all or maybe some of the students might have survived... One of the articles wrote--- The parents of a 2 years old child tried to save their child by lying their bodies on top of her so as to cover her. Their daughter survived...but they died. One of the provinces, 'wen chuan', population of 10 thousands.....6 thousands were gone missing. For once I really felt so fortunate to live in a country without natural disasters. But really saddening for those who have to suffer from all of these. Happy family is never possible anymore... Let's pray for the people... |
